    Product Introduction

The continuous rolling mill achieves continuous plastic deformation of metal materials by connecting multiple rolling mills in series. Its core principle is based on the equal second flow model, meaning the volume flow of metal between each stand remains constant. Uniformity of the strip thickness (with an accuracy of ±5μm) is ensured through speed matching and tension control. The equipment consists of reducers, motors, universal joint shafts, roller systems, etc., and supports four-high, six-high or twelve-high stand configurations, suitable for the production of high-precision sheet and strip materials.

Cold continuous rolling mill: Using hot-rolled coils as raw materials, after pickling, they are rolled through multiple stands, with thickness accuracy reaching ±1μm. It is used for high surface quality products such as home appliance panels and car bodies.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

    Q
What is the core working principle of the continuous rolling mill?
    A
The continuous rolling mill operates on the equal second flow model, which ensures that the volume flow of metal passing through each stand remains constant. Speed matching and tension control are used to maintain strip thickness uniformity with an accuracy of ±5μm across all stands.
    Q
What materials are compatible with the continuous rolling mill?
    A
The rolling mills (models 650, 750, and 850) are all designed to process carbon steel and low alloy steel. The input material thickness ranges from 2.0 to 3.0mm, and the finished product thickness can be reduced to as thin as 0.40mm.
    Q
What stand configurations are available, and which applications are they suited for?
    A
The mill supports four-high, six-high, and twelve-high stand configurations. These are suitable for producing high-precision sheet and strip materials, including home appliance panels, automotive body panels, and other products that demand high surface quality and tight dimensional tolerances.
    Q
What control system and electrical components are used in the rolling mill?
    A
The mills are equipped with Siemens 6RA70 DC speed regulators and Siemens PLC electric control systems, ensuring precise speed management and automated process control. Thickness pressing is handled by a Hydraulic AGC (Automatic Gauge Control) system for consistent output quality.
    Q
Can the equipment be customized to meet specific production requirements?
    A
Yes. The models and parameters listed in the technical specification table are for reference only. The design and production of the continuous rolling mill can be fully tailor-made to meet individual user requirements, including custom strip widths, rolling speeds, pressing forces, and stand configurations.
    Q
What is the difference between cold continuous rolling and conventional hot rolling?
    A
Cold continuous rolling uses hot-rolled coils as raw materials, which are first pickled and then processed through multiple rolling stands at room temperature. This process achieves superior surface quality and dimensional precision (±1μm) compared to hot rolling, making cold-rolled products ideal for demanding applications such as automotive body parts and home appliance panels.
