The purpose of the blade bushing is to allow a certain width between the dividing round knife, the upper knife and the lower knife, as well as to facilitate the horizontal gap adjustment. In order to reduce weight, aluminum spacers made from AL7075 are also available, maintaining the same strict tolerance standards.
