    Product Introduction

The continuous rolling mill achieves continuous plastic deformation of metal materials by connecting multiple rolling mills in series. Its core principle is based on the equal second flow model, meaning the volume flow of metal between each stand remains constant. Uniformity of the strip thickness (with an accuracy of ±5μm) is ensured through speed matching and tension control. The equipment consists of reducers, motors, universal joint shafts, roller systems, etc., and supports four-high, six-high or twelve-high stand configurations, suitable for the production of high-precision sheet and strip materials.

    Cold Continuous Rolling Mill

Using hot-rolled coils as raw materials, after pickling, they are rolled through multiple stands, with thickness accuracy reaching ±1μm. It is used for high surface quality products such as home appliance panels and car bodies.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Q What is the core working principle of a continuous rolling mill?
The continuous rolling mill operates on the equal second flow model, which ensures that the volume flow of metal between each rolling stand remains constant. By precisely matching the rolling speed and maintaining inter-stand tension control, the mill achieves uniform strip thickness with an accuracy of ±5μm throughout the entire process.
Q What stand configurations are available for the continuous rolling mill?
The continuous rolling mill supports four-high, six-high, and twelve-high stand configurations. Additionally, each mill model (650, 750, 850) supports 3 to 6 stands depending on the production requirements, providing flexibility for different strip thicknesses and material widths.
Q What materials can be processed by this continuous rolling mill?
The mill is designed for processing carbon steel and low alloy steel. It uses hot-rolled coils as raw materials, which are first pickled and then rolled through multiple stands. The cold continuous rolling process achieves a final thickness accuracy of ±1μm, making it ideal for high surface quality applications such as home appliance panels and automotive body parts.
Q What control systems are used in these rolling mills?
The mills utilize industry-leading control technology, including Siemens 6RA70 DC speed regulators and Siemens PLC electric control systems. The pressing method employs Hydraulic AGC (Automatic Gauge Control), ensuring precise and consistent thickness throughout the rolling process.
Q Can the mill specifications be customized to meet specific production requirements?
Yes. The models and parameters listed in the technical table are provided for reference only. Both the design and production can be fully tailor-made according to the customer's specific requirements, including material width, finish thickness, rolling speed, pressing force, and number of mill stands.
Q What is the typical process flow for the cold continuous rolling mill?
The standard process flow includes: Hot Coil Pickling → Multi-Stand Rolling → Annealing → Tempering. The mill also supports headless rolling technology, which eliminates the need to stop between coils, significantly enhancing production continuity and overall efficiency.
