    Product Introduction

The continuous rolling mill achieves continuous plastic deformation of metal materials by connecting multiple rolling mills in series. Its core principle is based on the equal second flow model, meaning the volume flow of metal between each stand remains constant. Uniformity of the strip thickness (with an accuracy of ±5μm) is ensured through speed matching and tension control.

Cold Continuous Rolling Mill: Using hot-rolled coils as raw materials, after pickling, they are rolled through multiple stands, with thickness accuracy reaching ±1μm. It is used for high surface quality products such as home appliance panels and car bodies.

    Process Flow

Hot coil pickling → Multi-stand rolling → Annealing → Tempering, supporting headless rolling technology to enhance continuity.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1 What is the working principle of a continuous rolling mill?
The continuous rolling mill operates based on the equal second flow model, where the volume flow of metal between each rolling stand remains constant. Multiple rolling mills are connected in series to achieve continuous plastic deformation of metal materials. Speed matching and tension control are used to ensure strip thickness uniformity with an accuracy of ±5μm.
Q2 What materials can the continuous rolling mill process?
The continuous rolling mill is designed to process carbon steel and low alloy steel materials. It supports material thicknesses ranging from 2.0 to 3.0 mm as input and can achieve finish thicknesses from 0.40 to 0.6 mm, making it ideal for producing high-precision sheet and strip materials.
Q3 What stand configurations are available for the continuous rolling mill?
The equipment supports four-high, six-high, and twelve-high stand configurations. All three mill models (650, 750, and 850) come with 5 sets of mill units, and all use working roll driving as the driving method. The configuration can be selected based on the specific production requirements and material specifications.
Q4 What control systems are used in the continuous rolling mill?
The continuous rolling mill employs advanced automation systems including Siemens 6RA70 DC speed regulators and Siemens PLC electric control. The pressing method uses Hydraulic AGC (Automatic Gauge Control) to ensure precise thickness control during the rolling process.
Q5 What is the difference between the 650, 750, and 850 mill models?
The three models differ mainly in their processing width capacity and power output. The 650 model handles material widths of 400–520 mm with a pressing force of 5,000 KN and rolling speed of 360 m/min. The 750 model handles 500–650 mm width with 6,000 KN and 420 m/min. The 850 model handles 600–750 mm width with 7,000 KN and 480 m/min, offering the highest throughput.
Q6 Can the continuous rolling mill be customized for specific production requirements?
Yes, the continuous rolling mill supports full customization. The models and parameters listed in the technical table are for reference only. Design and production can be tailor-made according to the user's specific requirements, including material type, width, thickness range, rolling speed, and automation level.
