High-Precision Slitting Round Blade Disc Knife - China Suppliers for Steel and Non-Ferrous Metal Factories

The slitting disc knife is an essential tool designed for a variety of industries, including large steel factories, steel pipe plants, non-ferrous metal processing facilities, tying material manufacturers, cold rolling plants, packaging material factories, steel processing service centers, steel sift factories, and strip mills. As a premier supplier in China, we provide high-quality slitting disc knives that meet the stringent precision requirements of machine manufacturers. Our products are engineered to enhance efficiency and productivity in your operations, making us a trusted partner for factories looking for reliable cutting solutions

    Product Introduction

    🎯 ±0.0005mm Thickness Tolerance
    ⚙️ H3 Inner Circle Tolerance
    🔬 Ra 0.1μ Surface Roughness
    📐 ±0.001mm Milling Tool Accuracy

We can now guarantee that the thickness tolerance of ±0.0005mm. For a certain inner circle, the tolerance can reach H3. All high-precision products are tested in a constant temperature room. With the continuous improvement of machining precision of sheet metal, we have developed ultra high precision cutting tools, whose accuracy has so far been matched by precision milling tools. ±0.001mm thickness tolerance, and Ra 0.1μ surface roughness are our routine standards. Using our know-how, we also meet our customers' higher tolerances for thickness, parallelism, flatness, outer and inner rings.

Rubber Sleeve & Blade Bushing Options

We can also attach a rubber sleeve to the outer diameter according to the customer's request, so that it can be exported smoothly with the knife to prevent scratches. The rubber sleeve is made of natural primary rubber such as green amine and acrylonitrile butadiene rubber, IRHD: 78 ~ 75), Polyurethane isolation ring (IRHD: 80 ~ 85).

    Blade Sleeve Materials

    • S45C — Most commonly used blade sleeve material
    • S50C — High-strength option for demanding applications
    • 65Mn — Superior spring steel for resilience and hardness
    🔩 Forging Process 🔧 Machining 🔥 Heat Treatment 📏 Leveling Grinding 💪 Hardness: 47±2°

The purpose of the blade bushing is to create a certain width between the dividing round knife, the upper knife and the lower knife, and the horizontal gap adjustment. Commonly used blade sleeve thickness ranges between 0.9mm ~ 100mm. The thickness tolerance of the blade casing is also controlled within 0.003mm/mt.

💡 Weight Reduction Option: In order to reduce weight, we can also produce aluminum spacers using AL7075. The thickness tolerance is also controlled within 0.003mm/mt.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Q What is the achievable thickness tolerance for your high-precision products?
Our products can achieve a thickness tolerance of ±0.0005mm, and for a certain inner circle, the tolerance can reach H3. All high-precision products are inspected in a controlled constant temperature room to ensure accuracy.
Q What surface roughness standard do your cutting tools meet?
Our routine standard for surface roughness is Ra 0.1μ, combined with a ±0.001mm thickness tolerance. We can also accommodate customers' higher custom tolerances for thickness, parallelism, flatness, and both outer and inner rings.
Q What materials are available for the rubber sleeve and what are their IRHD ratings?
We offer two rubber sleeve options: natural primary rubber (green amine / acrylonitrile butadiene rubber) with an IRHD of 78~75, and a polyurethane isolation ring with an IRHD of 80~85. Both are designed to protect the blade surface from scratches during export.
Q What materials are used for blade bushings and what hardness is achieved?
Blade bushing materials include S45C (most commonly used), S50C, and 65Mn. After forging, machining, heat treatment, and leveling grinding, the hardness achieved is 47±2 degrees. Thickness tolerances are controlled within 0.003mm/mt.
Q What is the typical thickness range for blade bushings?
Blade bushing thickness typically ranges from 0.9mm to 100mm. They are used to set precise widths between the dividing round knife, upper knife, lower knife, and for horizontal gap adjustment.
Q Do you offer lightweight spacer options and what material is used?
Yes, we offer aluminum spacers made from AL7075 for applications where weight reduction is a priority. The thickness tolerance for aluminum spacers is also maintained within 0.003mm/mt, ensuring the same precision as our standard blade bushings.
