With the continuous improvement of machining precision of sheet metal, we have developed ultra high precision cutting tools, whose accuracy has so far been matched by precision milling tools. ± 0.001mm thickness tolerance, and Ra 0.1μ surface roughness are our routine standards. Using our expertise and know-how, we also meet our customers' higher tolerances for thickness, parallelism, flatness, outer and inner rings.
The rubber sleeve is made of natural primary rubber such as green amine and acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (IRHD: 78 ~ 75), and polyurethane isolation ring (IRHD: 80 ~ 85). The blade sleeve material is S45C, S50C, 65Mn, etc., of which S45C is the most commonly used material.
The purpose of the blade bushing is to maintain a certain width between the dividing round knife, the upper knife, the lower knife, and for horizontal gap adjustment. Commonly used blade sleeve thickness ranges between 0.9mm ~ 100mm. After forging, machining, heat treatment, and leveling grinding, the hardness reaches 47 ± 2 HRC, with blade casing thickness tolerances controlled within 0.003mm/mt.
In order to reduce weight, we can also produce aluminum spacers using AL7075 alloy, with thickness tolerance also controlled within 0.003mm/mt.
Frequently Asked Questions
❓
What is the highest thickness tolerance your cutting tools can achieve?
Our high-precision cutting tools can achieve a thickness tolerance of ± 0.0005mm, and for certain inner circle dimensions, the tolerance can reach H3 grade. All products are tested in a constant temperature room to ensure accuracy.
❓
What surface roughness standard do your products meet?
Our standard surface roughness is Ra 0.1μ, which is our routine production benchmark. We can also meet higher custom tolerance requirements for thickness, parallelism, flatness, and outer/inner ring dimensions upon request.
❓
What materials are available for blade sleeves (bushings)?
Blade sleeves are available in S45C, S50C, and 65Mn steel. S45C is the most commonly used material. After forging, machining, heat treatment, and leveling grinding, the hardness is maintained at 47 ± 2 HRC.
❓
Can you supply lightweight aluminum spacers instead of steel ones?
Yes. To reduce overall weight, we offer aluminum spacers made from AL7075 alloy. The thickness tolerance is controlled within 0.003mm/mt, the same precision standard as our steel blade sleeves.
❓
What rubber sleeve options are available for outer diameter protection?
We offer rubber sleeves in natural primary rubber / acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (IRHD: 78–75) and polyurethane isolation rings (IRHD: 80–85). These sleeves prevent scratches during transport and allow smooth export with the knife.
❓
What thickness range do your blade sleeves cover?
Our blade sleeves cover a wide thickness range from 0.9mm to 100mm, suitable for dividing round knives, upper knives, lower knives, and horizontal gap adjustment applications. Custom sizes within this range are available upon request.
