Full Hydrogen Bell Annealing Furnace - Leading China Suppliers & Factory for Efficient Heat Treatment Solutions

,

Introducing our advanced full hydrogen bell annealing furnace, designed specifically for heat treatment applications. As a leading China supplier and factory, we utilize hydrogen as the sole protective gas for annealing, ensuring superior performance. Unlike traditional bell furnaces that rely on a mixture of hydrogen and nitrogen, our innovative design employs 100% hydrogen as the heat conduction medium. This highly reactive gas provides exceptional heat conduction speed—seven times faster than nitrogen—allowing for direct heat transfer from the radial direction of steel coils. With a low density that's only 1/14th that of nitrogen, our furnace significantly reduces power consumption of fans while minimizing equipment noise. Additionally, hydrogen’s reducing capabilities effectively convert oxide residues into water vapor at high temperatures, enhancing the annealing quality of cold-rolled thin plates. Choose our full hydrogen bell annealing furnace for cutting-edge technology and improved operational efficiency in your heat treatment processes.

    Product Introduction

    1.6:1
    1.6 : 1

The configuration ratio between the furnace and the heating cover is reduced. The traditional HNX furnace is 2:1, that is to say, two HNX furnaces are equipped with one heating cover. The ratio of the furnace cover is reduced to 1.6:1 due to the extremely short cooling time of the all-hydrogen furnace, which saves the floor area and reduces the investment.

    40%
    Up to 40%

The use of 100% hydrogen as a protective gas, corrugated inner casing, large gas flow and high speed burner, combined gas/water cooling and strong convection can increase production by 30% to 40%.

    PPm
    PPm Level

No oxidation phenomenon — due to the realization of reliable two PPm level (millionth) of the seal, enough washing time, and advanced control means, annealed steel coil will not have oxidation color.

    Frequently Asked Questions
    Q
What does the 1.6:1 furnace-to-heating-cover ratio mean?
The 1.6:1 ratio means that for every 1.6 HNX furnaces, only one heating cover is required. Compared to the traditional 2:1 ratio, this optimized configuration reduces the required floor space and lowers overall investment costs.
    Q
Why is 100% hydrogen used as the protective gas?
Using 100% hydrogen as a protective gas significantly enhances heat transfer efficiency. Combined with a corrugated inner casing, high-speed burners, and strong convection cooling, it enables production increases of 30% to 40% compared to traditional methods.
    Q
How does the all-hydrogen furnace prevent oxidation of steel coils?
The furnace achieves a reliable PPm-level (parts per million) seal, combined with sufficient gas purging time and advanced process controls. This ensures the annealing environment remains free of oxygen, preventing any oxidation discoloration on the steel coil surface.
    Q
What is the advantage of combined gas/water cooling in this system?
Combined gas and water cooling dramatically shortens the cooling cycle of the furnace. This faster cooling is the primary reason the furnace-to-cover ratio can be reduced from 2:1 to 1.6:1, improving throughput and reducing equipment footprint.
    Q
What role does the corrugated inner casing play in the all-hydrogen furnace?
The corrugated inner casing increases the surface area for gas flow, promoting more uniform and efficient heat distribution around the steel coil. This contributes to both the improved production capacity and the consistent quality of the annealed product.
    Q
How does this furnace design reduce overall investment costs?
By reducing the furnace-to-cover ratio to 1.6:1, fewer heating covers are needed per furnace unit. Additionally, the smaller required floor area lowers facility costs, and the higher production efficiency (up to 40% increase) means a faster return on investment.
